I have a baseball in mint condition signed by Ricky Henderson. How much should I ask for it?

I've never sold a baseball like this...so I'm wondering 1. how to go about doing it without being ripped off.... and 2. how much I should ask for it. Please Help!!

Thanks!

I have a baseball in mint condition signed by Ricky Henderson. How much should I ask for it?
i have news for you, a baseball that has been written on is not in "mint" condition. further, if it is signed "ricky" then it is probably a fake, as rickey henderson would seem likely to spell his name correctly.
Reply:Probably about 300-500 dollars. It really depends on the condition. You should take it to an auction house to get an estimated price value.

A babe ruth baseball (I just sold mine) in perfect condition goes for up to 10 grand.
Reply:WHY SELL IT!?
Reply:Rickey Henderson is the best lead off hitter ever to play the game of baseball.

So I'd ask about 300 - 500 dollars.
Reply:well considering he played/plays??? for the yankees you might could get a couple bucks for it. GO BOSTON!!!!
Reply:let the seller make the price
Reply:There are several questions you would have to answer before the value of the ball could be determined. First, the ball has to be hand signed by Rickey and not stamped. Second, you have to have a certificate of authenticity from an approved source confirming that Rickey signed the ball. Third, is it signed on an official American League ball? If all of these questions are positive the value of the ball would be in the $75 to $125 price range if you sold it on E-bay. Signitures from Rickey Henderson are not difficult to come by. Anyone telling you that your ball is worth $300 to $1,000 has no clue what they are talking about.
Reply:Don't sell it just yet, the older it is the more it will be worth. Never touch it whatever you do. Keep it in something like a case.

A die hard Ricky Henderson fan may pay $1000 for it. But on e-bay, you may get more.
Reply:about 450-600 dollars because rickey was a good leadoff hitter and he stole alot of bases
Reply:The best answer? Take it to a well known dealer and have it authenticated and apraised. Then go from there.
