Who thinks amir khan is a mint boxer and will be world champ 1 day?

I do think he is a good boxer and i'm sure he puts in proper hard work but will he be world champ one day?

Who thinks amir khan is a mint boxer and will be world champ 1 day?
I totally think he could. hes a little arrogant sometimes but i think you hav eto be in that business
Reply:I feel hes been given to much to soon much in the way Ardley Harrison was where he hasn't had to reach the topto get all the media attention which coulld backfire on him in the same way. I'm not a fan of his style %26amp; ********* and must admit I often find myself hopin he gets ko'd. also in last fight I've seen fights stopped whenn guys took less than what he was gettin he was all over the place his legs had gone %26amp; he wasn't defending himself if he wasn't "Amir Khan" I think it might well have been stopped but it did well to come back %26amp; win. But at the end of the day hes British so I hope he wins a World Title! but it's not a given
Reply:Not a very good boxer, definitely not a very nice person despite his publicity machine. He and his "boys"have a bad reputation in his home town !!
Reply:no way not until he can defend himself properly and not carry his left hand by his waist all the time.
Reply:He is a great boxer but he has attracted too much media attention too early in his career, that and his ********* will be his downfall.....however i can see him getting a world title, but he'll probably loose it soon after.
Reply:All we can say at this point is that he is a very good prospect. He's definately a very good boxer, there must be some questions about his chin though!

We will have more idea when he's fought the best bin britain and europe.

He has great heart and great skills. But the media are giving him far too much attention, and that may affect him adversely! He's in danger of believing his own hype, i just hope he doesnt turn into another Naseem Hamed, who was badly exposed by Barerra and didnt have the guts to come back from it.
Reply:He's an exceedling average fighter who has been spoon-fed his opponents from tomato cans. He may win a belt but he'll never be THE champion.
Reply:well u know man people specially in sport who get loads of credit before they even done much then after all not to do much look a Rooney best England ever produce it had been said so he is good no doubt u know is quick fast good moves but some might call it off cause of too much pressure or too overconfidence which u need in boxing but without understudying others so i say he i think will get there probably but for how long would he stay there i thing amir's is a short time sport man
Reply:no,sorry.i'll have to disagree with you there.he is a good boxer but he is to cocky with it,which will be his downfall.
Reply:i have a 20 pound bet on with ma pal that he will be world champ in 5 years, after his fight with willie lomond (who i wanted to win) i thought he could do it beacause that is the first real fight he has had
Reply:I think Amir's got a very bright future. World champion? I would like to think so, but it will need a good mentor and promoter. His arrogance is a little suspect too, shades of the Prince about him, I hope he keeps grounded and takes the world by storm.
