Does Vanilla Mint Listerine stain your teeth?

To those who've used it regularly, has it stained your teeth at all? I was considering using it, but I read about someone who thought it stained his teeth. I want to keep mine white and bright.

Does Vanilla Mint Listerine stain your teeth?
No this particular brand does not stain your teeth. However hygienists (me) and Dentists alike have noticed that there is a good bit of staining associated with Crest Pro Health Rinse. Also the RX rinse Peridex (Chlorhexadine) does stain a lot. However people that use Peridex usually are perio involved patients, and the benefit outweighs the staining factor. I personally love Vanilla Mint Listerine and use it everyday, no staining involved.
Reply:IDK But it makes your breath smell good and it tastes good
Reply:No, vanilla Listerine strips do not stain your teeth.

It is possible that your friend consumed something that had a slight effect on her teeth while she was using the strips, but the strips themselves do not stain.
Reply:I used the mint and no stains, thanks for asking.
Reply:no but little bits of leaves from the vanilla plant get stuck between your teeth
Reply:It hasn't for me.
Reply:ive never heard of that happening with any listerine - but if it did then vanilla mint wold probably be your best choice anyway because it has the least amount of coloring in it than other flavors.

i think its nasty tasting anyway - ive been using the orange flavor forever and its never stained my teeth at all.
Reply:why would a Listerine stain teeth if it were made for teeth. tea and coffee stain teeth.
Reply:No, Listerine does not stain your teeth. Rinses that stain your teeth are chlorhexidine and anything with stannous fluoride.
Reply:any mouthwash can stain your teeth because it has coloring in it.

some peoples teeth just pick up stain easier than others.

if you want mouthwash that won't possibly stain your teeth go with a whitening type of mouthwash.
