I saw it today zoning aisle 2.
Brak wants to know, "What do you use mint jelly for"?
I use to grow mint and I made lots of it. We learned to use it like any other jelly...on hot buttered bisquits was deliteful. Meats really take on excellent flavors when added to last few minutes of the roast as glaze. On ham, roast, venison, turkey, pork, lamb.
Reply:people put on lamb. i never tried it.
Reply:Roast beef, Biscuits, mashed potatoes, gravy, green beans, slaw, and corn pudding. We eat it on buscuits with this meal in Memphis.I use to make it when the kids were little. Rock on.
Reply:lamb usually but i don't like it on that personally
Reply:it's suppose to be good with lamb
Reply:I don't use mint jelly for anything but I love the mint sauce not jellied, just the fresh mint, vinegar %26amp; sugar and can't eat my lamb without it.
Reply:You pute it on food or eat it plane.
Reply:Its a garnish for lamb. I feel its an excuse to drink Bourbon.

Reply:My whole country (Australia) just fell over with shock. I can tell you it's definately for lamb - people here would be horrified that someone out there didn't know. :) We love our lamb.
You just serve it like sauce, like cranberry.
Reply:Truthfully, like all the other answers.
It's usually used for lamb...
But I like mint~ So I put it on my toast.
Reply:Lamb is.....let's say.....an acquired taste. Using Mint Jelly on it cuts the ......uh....um....flavor....a bit ...so it's not so.....flavorful. Didn't want to offend any of the many lamb eaters who answered your question so tried to be as 'diplomatic' as possible. I, personally, don't care for lamb. It's too....uh.....flavorful......:o)
