The stamps have been in the glassine envelopes for a long time. Heat and humidity have fused them together. I don't just want to soak them off if it is possible.
How can one remove mint stamps from glassine envelopes? They are stuck to the glassine with original gum.?
Try holding them over a pan of boiling water for a few seconds. The glue should become moist enough for you to remove from envelope. Then let stamps dry with glue face up.
