How Many Pennies Does the United States Mint in an Average Year?
There is more than one mint in the USA - for the Denver mint, to give an example, if everyone in the USA turned in their pennies that they save, it would be closed down for 7 years. THAT's how many it mints in one year.
Reply:probably a lot because theyre worth so little, but i know that the idea of no longer producing the penny because of its little value is still out there
Reply:a gazillion katrillion
Reply:I thought the mint closed down
