Geesh, some of the answers on here are amazing. The guy with the 60000 to 1 million is yet another guy who is just guessing and has no clue. I think they need to change this to "yahoo guesses."
If the card is not certified, it's worth zero. 95% of the autographs out there are fake and everyone knows it, so if you just show someone a MM card with his autograph and no certification, no one wants it. If it is an autographed card that was put out by a card company like Topps, then it could be worth between 300-1000, you'd have to look it up in a beckett guide. I've seen cards that were signed by MM at card shows that people were asking 500 bucks for. The problem was, the card was put out AFTER MM died, so obviously the guy forged it.
Where did you get the autograph? If it's real but you do not have any kind of certification, it would just be better to keep it and pass it on your kids some day.
How much would a mickey mantle autographed baseball card in mint condition cost?
I was once told by a baseball card dealer that an autograph on a card somehow brings down the value some. Don't understand how but that's what he told me
Reply:I'm not sure, but probably somewhere between 600,000 and 1 mill.
Reply:Take it to a collector and find out! No one here is going to know!
