i heard somewhere that mint tea can be harmfull to an unborn baby if the mother has had misscairages in the past. i am just wanting to get more info on this......can any one help me here? i want to protect my baby and need this info to keep her safe.....

if you want to keep your baby safe stay away from herbs except when used in preparing food
many herbs like cinnamon and lavender which are otherwise safe may cause a miscarriage
mint is though to be safer than others but you should ask your ob/gynec before drinking any of it ( including ginger tea )esp if you had complications in the past .

I drank peppermint tea a lot because I was always sick. It helped me and I have had miscarriages before. But every woman is different.
