I remember when I was a little girl and my mom would have a tray full of candy. It was a round white candy with color stripes that goes with the flavor. Like red was cherry flavor, yellow was butterscotch and green was mint. When you eat it the candy just melts in your mouth. I don't know the name of maker but I haven't seen it at any candy store.
Round puff candy that melts in your mouth it came in cherry, butterscotch and mint flavor.?
I have been looking for this same candy for about 3 years now with no luck! PLEASE if you find out what it is let me know. I grew up in Georgia and the ones we had were colored to match the flavor; pale green with darker green stripes for mint, pink with red stripe for cherry, and pale yellow with a darker stripe for butterscotch. I'e even searched thru pages and pages of discontinued candies and can't even find anything close. Surely we didn't both imagine them!
Reply:Was it a European candy? I have noticed that those are getting harder to find in the U.S.
Reply:turkish delight?
Reply:I know what you're talking about - I bought some recently, and I remember it called "Pure Sugar Candy". I'll try and look up the name...
Reply:Sounds like butter mints to me.
