How much would the original X-Men comics fetch in mint condition today?

A friend of mine has most of the original comics from the 60's.All in mint condition %26amp; in plastic covers. He has boxes %26amp; boxes of them %26amp; I was just wondering how much roughly they would fetch if he were to sell them.

E bay is the only real option. if you sell to the comic shop they have their own overheads to cover. I would check the back of wizard magsine and start the bidding at half the listed price.

Whatever you do do NOT take the highest quote from your answers print it off and take it into a shop with the comics. you will be guarenteeing a no sale for being (removed to avoid report of abuse)
Reply:I have seen in auction for only x-men no1 go for up to £6,000.

After the first i think the second is about £3,000 and it deprecates onwards to about £500 for issue 50 and £100 for issue 100 and so on.
Reply:about 2 to 5 pounds each
Reply:It all counts on who you are planning on selling too, but if you want the most money try selling them one at a time on e-bay or go to a comic convention to find out if some one is missing a issue of some kind he can't find
Reply:Depends on the Individual Issue really, If you have a Mint copy of Issue 1, and I mean really mint, it could sell for up to £1000+, and thats just that one comic, but like I say it all depends on what issues you have
