Help please! I have got some sort of greenfly on my garden mint?

Can anyone let me know how I can rid of it without using any chemicals?? In case it makes any difference - it is a new plant and is growing indoors.

Put some washing up liquid in a spray bottle with water and mist the plant. The soap is harmless to the plant but the greenfly die.

Rinse the mint before using it if you are worried that it will taste soapy- it won't.
Reply:Blast them off with a water spray or cook them as it is just another form of protein
Reply:Spray it with a mixture of washing up liquid and water. The detergent in the washing up liquid strips the wax like coating from the greenfly and kills them.
Reply:My mum always used to use the old washing up water on greenfly just throw it over the bush ...dont know why worked a treat
