I know one person who has found one, but he would only give it up for a million dollars. (which is what hes trying to sell it for) I've tried calling around pawn shops in or around the city but with no luck.
Where can i buy a $1,000 bill in mint condition?
good luck,I bet those are rare
Reply:I have two of these bills in mint condition and they are now for sale for $9000.00 each. Report It
Reply:If you aren't too picky about the difference between new and choice uncirculated, you can get one for under $5000. The one presently on eBay for $3 Million grades 68 (which is the highest grade known to exist).
Here is an example of one that grades 63 for that will probably sell for under $3000. It's not quite centered and the colors may not be quite as bright, but what are you willing to pay for?

Here is another one that is a little nicer, but it has a reserve on it.

Forget about getting one from a bank - the responder that said that apparently doesn't realize that the Federal Reserve has been withdrawing $1000 bills from circulation for the last 40 years.
Reply:Actually, you could contact the US Treasury Department or the US Mint department. You can also request a mint condition $1,000 through your bank. All you need to pay is the face value and perhaps a small handling fee. US Mint or US Treasury will sell you a collection of US currency for collectors. I understand that there is a $10,000 bill too but the general public can't get it. It is used by the banks and the government only.
Reply:the bank might have one
