Can I use mint leaves for any recipes?

i think i have some in my backyard

Can I use mint leaves for any recipes?
Aside from using it for iced or hot tea (brew the leaves as you would tea to make a lovely herbal tea), I know mint can be used in place of parsley in tabbouleh. If that doesn't sound like what you're looking for, I recommend checking out recipesource.com and searching for mint. I came up with 313 recipes.
Reply:Feta Cucumber Mint Salad



2 English cucumbers cubed 1"

200g Feta cheese (in tub not dry pack) cubed

1/4 cup Packed mint leaves chopped

1/2 Lemon zest

1 Part olive oil to

3 Part lemon juice (to make about 1/4 cup)

Salt and fresh groud pepper



Preparation

mix together in bowl cucumber, feta, mint, and lemon zest.

place oil, lemon juice, and good pinch of salt in small jar. Close and shake to emulsify.

pour over other ingredients, grind on some pepper, and toss lightly to coat.











serve immediately.

my grandmother used to make tea with it but the tea was bitter

Reply:They have a very strong taste and smell so add them only to recipes calling for mint remember 3 times fresh for dry
Reply:You can use them in cocktails. And in salads ripped up, not too much, with lettuce tomatos cheese etc,. personally I think they're gross but if you like the taste just experiment with them.
