I recenlty came to know that eating chewing gum causes impotence? Is it true? I searched but could not find a nice document in it. and also Are there any other side effects?
What are the side effects of eating mint chewing gum?
With me chewing it a lot caused a big laxative effect it took ages to find out it was the gum, I used to get through several packs a day. Also check drinks that contain the same sweetner as they have the same effect.

Reply:If it's got artificial sweeteners in it, it could be dodgy - there are various theories about particular sweeteners causing cancer and taking the calcium out of your bones. Also some sweeteners have a laxative effect.
But chewing gum occasionally won't kill you. Just don't do it constantly if you're worried about side effects!
